VH1's "Sorority Sisters" Were Expelled
From Delta Sigma Theta Sorority
BHR Hollywood Reports...........VH1's "Sorority Sisters" is dead and gone but the troubles keep rolling in.

It's now been revealed that five cast members representing Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated have been expelled.

Priyanka Banks, Lydia Mitchell, Metoya Monroe, Adrene Ashford and Shanna McCormick were expelled January 13 as indicated by its national website.

The decision came the same day VH1 announced it would bring an end to the series by airing the remaining episodes back-to-back.

Delta Sigma Theta's expulsion policy states that expelled members "must refrain from wearing any paraphernalia or using any merchandise that includes references to Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

its symbols or logos." Expelled members are also prohibited from representing the sorority and are banned from attending Delta Sigma Theta activities.

If any individual fails to abide by the guidelines, they will be subject to legal action.

But already, “Sorority Sisters” has been wiped off the site, as if it never existed. I get a sense many VH1 executives would have preferred the show had never aired in the first place after all the headaches it caused.

Why leave that blemish on their collective memory when we can all reminisce about Scott Baio‘s day in the reality show sun or the craziness that was Flava Flav?

Some of the “Sorority Sister” cast pages have survived the purge as of today but the main page where full epis
odes could be viewed are gone.

This disappearance happened less than four days after VH1 quietly aired the last three episodes of “Sorority Sisters” last Friday night in a move that clearly indicated the network’s desire to kill it in the most innocuous way possible.

The final episode aired at 11:10 p.m. ending just after midnight with no repeats. And no second season forthcoming.
