BHR Hollywood Reports...........After seven seasons, NeNe Leakes is leaving Bravo's Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Leakes made the shocking announcement last night, telling them “This was definitely a hard decision for me.

Me and my husband [Gregg Leakes] have been going back and forth on it for weeks now.

But my contract is up and I just think this is the right time. This is my opportunity to spread my

wings and do different things.”

As previously reported, this year, Leakes launched her own clothing line through HSN and she recently revealed that Kim Kardashian has included her as a character in her famous Hollywood app.

Leakes said she is taking the opportunity to focus on a new primetime TV show that she is filming with a "big legend," though she did not reveal who the legend is, according to Reports.

In March, Bravo announced that Leakes and Kim Zolciak Biermann, a former RHOA star, were teaming up for a spinoff show, NeNe and Kim: The Road to Riches.

And for those worried that the show will suffer without Leakes telling it like it is, you may see more of the reality TV star than you would think.

"I'll probably pop up and play with those girls every now and then," Leakes said.


Bravo's Andy Cohen tweeted that the show will welcome Leakes back with open arms.
